About Ribbons.Guide

Ribbons.Guide is an open-source progressive web app that allows you to keep track of your Pokémon and their Ribbons! Ribbons.Guide is hosted via GitHub Pages. It was developed as a love letter to the helpful and welcoming r/PokémonRibbons community.

The images used in Ribbons.Guide were provided by PokéJungle, Pokémon Database, PokéSprite, Bulbagarden Archives, Pokémon GO Assets, and Material Symbols. Ribbons.Guide also makes use of jQuery, Bootstrap, Select2, Sortable, and Google Fonts. This project is tested with BrowserStack.

Rising Stars

Bobby, better known to us as Regiultima, was a very prominent member in the r/PokemonRibbons community. He was incredibly kind and helpful to everyone, and very knowledgeable about the subject. I actually had most of my contact with him in the Discord server's Pokémon GO channel, since that's where I tend to frequent, so we talked more about GO than ribbon collecting. Still, it was very clear to me that everyone in the server knew him, and everyone who knew him loved him. He passed away in February 2026 at the way-too-young age of 29. There is now a hole in the community that will never, ever recover.

In celebration of Regiultima, his achievements, his helpfulness, and the Pokémon he took on journeys across the series, other members of the r/PokemonRibbons community have organized a Tiltify charity campaign as well as a Ribbon event. All credit for this goes to Professor Rex, Venty, kiki, and CannedWolfMeat; I'm just spreading the word!

The charity campaign benefits Starlight Children's Foundation Canada, who work with children in hospitals to spread joy to them and their families. One of the things Starlight Canada does is work with Nintendo to install Switch systems in hospitals to provide gaming experiences to children staying there. Starlight Canada has confirmed that, if enough money is raised to fund a system, they will prepare one adorned with a special decal in honor of Regiultima.

The Ribbon event is called Rising Stars Week and takes place on August 19–26, 2026. We invite you to search for a Pokémon and collect Ribbons on it to help immortalize Regiultima's love of the franchise and the activity of Ribbon collecting. You can choose to earn Ribbons on an old favorite, or hunt for a new Pokémon! If you'd like some inspiration, click here for a list of 48 Pokémon on which Regiultima earned all possible Ribbons.
